Easy Peasy Chocolate Cake

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C, fan oven 180°C, gas mark 6.

  2. Mix the flour, cocoa powder and sugar in a large bowl.

  3. Break the egg into a mug and beat with a fork. Add the egg to the bowl with the dry ingredients.

  4. Pour the oil and milk into the mug and mix with a fork.

  5. Add the oil and milk to the bowl with the dry ingredients.

  6. Mix all the ingredients in the bowl with a wooden spoon.

  7. Spoon the mixture into a round tin lined with baking paper or greased with butter.

  8. Bake in the oven for 15/20 minutes.

  9. Make the icing by mixing half a mug of icing sugar with 2 tablespoons of water.

  10. Spread the icing over the cake with the fork or with the back of the wooden spoon.

  11. Decorate with sprinkles and sweets.

  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder or chocolate powder

  • 1 egg

  • 1/2 mug of vegetable oil

  • 1/2 mug of milk

  • 1/2 mug of icing sugar

  • sprinkles and sweets to decorate

  • Butter or baking paper
